COVID TRAVEL INFORMATION

We know that guests are anxious about the Covid rules and we are constantly monitoring the travel requirements due to COVID-19. We are hopeful that the rules will relax, but as of today, these are the requirements for you to enter Canada.

Traveling to Canada

  • Starting April 1, 2022, pre-entry tests are no longer required for fully vaccinated travellers entering Canada by land, air or water. You must still use ArriveCAN within 72 hours before your arrival to Canada.

  • Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children 5 years of age or older must provide a valid pre-entry test result, even if they are accompanying a fully vaccinated adult.

  • Children who are less than 5 years old are not required to test, regardless of their vaccination status.

  • Unvaccinated travelers need either a negative PCR Covid test 72 hours before their flight into Canada or a Rapid Antigen test which was purchased and must be administered by a laboratory, healthcare entity or telehealth service.

  • The ArriveCan app must be downloaded onto your mobile phone.  You will need to upload your proof of vaccination or your negative PCR or antigen test and your passport information.

Travel requirements are changing rapidly. Please refer to the Canadian Traveler website for the most up to date details.

Returning to the U.S.

The CDC order from December 2, 2021, requiring persons aged two and above to show a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before boarding a flight to the United States, is rescinded, effective June 12, 2022, at 12:01AM ET. This means that starting at 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, air passengers will not need to get tested and show a negative COVID-19 test result or show documentation of recovery from COVID-19 prior to boarding a flight to the United States regardless of vaccination status or citizenship. Of note, CDC’s Order requiring proof of vaccination for non-citizen nonimmigrants to travel to the United States is still in effect. For more information see Requirement for Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination for Air Passengers on the CDC’s website.

These restrictions are subject to change. We will make every effort to keep this site updated, but for the most up to date information.
